APSS Foundation (formerly Global Foundation of Good Neighbors)
Good Neighbors began its journey in India in 2009, initially focusing on child sponsorship programs and community development projects in the southern region. Over the years, it evolved into ACHCHHE PADOSI SAMAJIK SEVA FOUNDATION (APSS Foundation), also known as Achchhe Padosi (Good Neighbors Bharat) — a non-profit organisation dedicated to advancing child protection, education, women’s and youth empowerment, livelihood promotion, and holistic community development across India.
Following a child-centered community development model, APSS Foundation emphasizes the overall well-being of children and their communities through key interventions in education, child protection, socioeconomic development, youth empowerment, public health, WASH (Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene), disaster risk reduction, climate change adaptation, environmental sustainability, and gender equality.
Working in collaboration with government bodies, local institutions, corporate partners, community leaders, and civil society organisations, Achchhe Padosi (Good Neighbors Bharat) strives to strengthen community resilience, promote inclusive growth, and create sustainable opportunities for underprivileged children, youth, and women.
Upholding the principles of transparency, accountability, and partnership, APSS Foundation continues to expand its presence across multiple states, reinforcing its long-term commitment to empowering communities and building a safer, healthier, and more equitable society across India.
